Beit Nun And IllSkilz Colours EP
The third release from the Macclesfield MC is a 9 track limited edition CD E.P. produced by Dutchman IllSkilz. It clocks in at around 20 minutes for £5 and offers poor value for money in that this is a fair price for an album in my opinion.
This release has a rare postive, inspirational vibe that is hard not to like (I tried harder!) - this is a 'no moan zone'. It seems to have some replay value which is quite rare in this day and age. The beats don't break any sonic boundaries but there is some solid, polished stuff here (even if some of the samples are over familiar to my cloth ears).
This is a quality release (allowing the interludes) with highlights including'A Good Year' with Dan Bull, Suicyde, 777, Joe Gutta, Old Owl, JND & Chris L all on it.
Here's hoping these two keep their collab on...
