The debut (concept) album from the 22 year old Midlands musician. It's in a 'emo' trip hop vein spiced with a mix of other styles and genres that keep the listener's attention and Mr Bull shows his real potential here as a self-produced artist with the music standing out the most. This album has a strong musical feel (did he use any samples?) and strong commercial potential with 'songs' and polished production (but possibly lacking the sheen that mastering may add). You can read his lyrics online at his site www.freshnut.co.uk (a mark of quality in my old eyes). This should appeal to fans of Mike Skinner and could be a nice lemon sorbet to cleanse your musical palate.
