Week one of government mandated isolation and shit has already started getting weird down in Portsmouth. Gen Co. and Budge are convinced there’s an alien living with them. Obviously our initial reaction was concern for the amount of hallucinogenics they might be taking to deal with quarantine. But they’ve got the little guy on camera and wrote a gully, low key banger about him which has us satisfied that their claims are legit and they’ve got this shit under control.
Bombed out Blah-esque visual by Tru2c. Follow these guys for more dope weirdness incoming.
We linked Gen Co. in Bristol a while back who dropped some heat over a Lebbs beat.
Young Lebbs and Gen Co. went on a vision quest around Portsmouth and shit got strange. Beat with WRS collaborating on the production and bizarre lyricism had already made for something tripped out on ‘I Do Not Follow’. Add to that the gutter-psychedelia of the video and you have a recipe for brain melting. Maximum weird points.
New visual from Portsmouths PRØSPECTS & Gen Co ‘Death Wish’ look out for more from these youngsters coming soon. Produced by Addict & Gen Co
These youths from Portsmouth are a threat!! We stumbled across Apps and Lebbs, aka PRØSPECTS, a couple months back when we discovered their only video release to date, ‘Deceit’, and subsequently searched out the couple bars videos and EP that have surfaced since the group appeared out of nowhere in the second half of 2018.
We got in touch with them and their boy Gen Co. and linked up in Bristol for the above cypher. All 3 absolutely destroyed it! The level of talent here for 3 lyricists not even out of their teens yet is more than a bit impressive. Ill production on the instrumental by Lebbs.
Stay tuned for more on the way from all involved here! In the meantime…
