AyiTe, the North London rapper-producer returns with his first video of 2021 – the justifiably hyped ‘Legacy’. The rapper drops some choice bars over a wavy beat and ponders the age-old question of how they’ll be remembered.
The video – his third filmed under lockdown – sees AyiTe cruise the countryside and take in the cinematic splendour of Dungeness with scenes destined to inspire some isolation-envy.
It’s another dope release from a promising artist, and it’s all the more meaningful for being dedicated to his old friend cult DJ and producer Baytrilla. AyiTe spits “I need to make my mark before they bury me.” With tunes this consistent, that legacy already seems assured.
