The Manchester International Festival always throws up some interesting lineups in the music department and this years hiphop offering looks very tasty indeed:
Snoop Dogg’s debut album Doggystyle is a record that, for many, defines a genre and a decade. This very special show is a unique multimedia experience that brings together the original featured artists to play Doggystyle in its entirety.
Released in 1993, Doggystyle went straight to number one on the billboard chart and became the fastest-selling debut album of all time.
This event reproduces the entire album with live appearances from original featured guests, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, RBX, Lady Rage, Joe Cool and Warren G
it’s on at the Apollo on Friday 15th July, tickets go on sale 18th March for £33.50
