Pique Roscoe has to be a contender for most consistently dope newcomer to the UK hip hop scene over the last couple years. ‘Owe Nobody’ is one of his best drops yet. This is largely down to the sublime instrumental by Harry Hawaii which matches Pique’s vocal bite on the crisp snares, adds bounce on the bass and at the same time contrasts with joyously funky melodics. Fucking superb. Only gripe is that it’s not twice as long.
