Stumbled over this and the uniquely US influenced stylings of Kid Bookie‘s approach to double time bars (while still sounding very UK) peaked interest to go check his other stuff. Turns out his last tune was MASSIVE due to a feature from Corey Taylor of Slipnot fame. Which has to be worth a look purely because when else are you ever going to here a UK hip hop X Slipnot collab? Bookie’s material is bare diverse combining the hip hop at its core with influences including grime, metal and all kinds of other mad musical juju. Check his most recent album Publish This.
