So much to celebrate about Genesis Elijah‘s latest monster of a tune. In no particular order…
1. Its becoming apparent that Gen fucking loves Halloween and probably now holds the record for most seasonally apt UK hip hop videos. (He dropped 2 last year… See ‘Spooky‘ and ‘Haunted Trap House‘)
2. ‘All Jokes Aside’ has too much too unpack to fit into a short video post but is on point on literally every level. Videography, flow, depth of content, current cultural relevance, production; all 10 for 10.
3. Apparently there’s a new LP dropping TOMORROW!!! It’s called The CREATURE from BENEATH THE MAINSTREAM (see aforementioned Genesis x Halloween hypothesis) and sounds like it should be a BEAST.
